Because we sell edible products, sweets and other food items are generally non-returnable for hygiene and safety reasons once dispatched.
Our approach to returns
We want every order from Mabels Munchies to arrive as expected. Because our products are food items, we cannot usually accept returns for change-of-mind purchases. That said, if something is wrong with your order, we will always review it fairly and do our best to put it right.
Items that are not normally returnable
- Pick n mix sweets
- Traditional sweets and confectionery
- Imported food or drink products
- Gift boxes containing edible goods
- Opened or consumed items
When we may offer a refund or replacement
We may offer a refund, replacement or other suitable resolution if:
- you received the wrong item
- your order arrived damaged in transit
- an item was missing from your parcel
- a product was not of satisfactory quality on arrival
Reporting an issue
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery if there is a problem with your order. This is especially important for damaged, melted, missing or incorrect items, as we need to investigate quickly with our packing records and delivery partners.
When getting in touch, please include:
- your order number
- your name and delivery postcode
- a clear explanation of the issue
- photos of the parcel, shipping label and affected items where relevant
Change of mind
We do not accept returns for change of mind on food or consumable items. This includes orders placed in error, taste preference issues, or unwanted items where the goods are otherwise correct and safe.
Opened consumables
We cannot refund or replace products that have been opened, partly consumed, or stored incorrectly after delivery unless there is a genuine product fault that was present on arrival.
Refund method
Where a refund is approved, it will be returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Refund times can vary slightly depending on your bank or card issuer, but they usually appear within a few working days after processing.
When a refund may be refused
We may be unable to refund if:
- the issue is reported too long after delivery to investigate properly
- no supporting evidence is provided where it is reasonably needed
- the product has clearly been opened or consumed before the issue was raised
- the problem was caused by an incorrect delivery address supplied at checkout
